  1. Pumpkin spice latte: an original autumn coffee recipe

This is one of our favourite coffee recipes when the leaves start to turn red and autumn begins to set in.

Originating in the United States, the Pumpkin spice latte has quickly become a must-have in trendy cafés.

And with good reason: with its subtle taste of pumpkin and spices, Pumpkin spice latte is unlike any other coffee you've ever tasted.

Today we're going to tell you how to make a delicious homemade pumpkin spice latte. You'll see, it's not very complicated!

Pumpkin spice latte ingredients :

  • 150 g pumpkin
  • 200 g sugar
  • 12 cl water
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 Express
  • 150 ml milk

Making the Pumpkin spice latte :

Pumpkin spice latte is prepared in two stages. To begin, you can peel your pumpkin and cut 150 grams of flesh into pieces, then boil them in a pan of water until tender.

Blend the pumpkin pieces to a smooth purée and heat the mixture in a saucepan. Add the water, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon and nutmeg, then stop cooking once the mixture has come to the boil.

Leave the syrup to cool for a few minutes. Meanwhile, you can heat the milk and prepare the two espressos. Finally, pour your pumpkin syrup, espressos and hot milk into a tall glass.

For even more pleasure, you can add whipped cream to the top of your Pumpkin spice latte and decorate it with a pinch of cinnamon. All that's left to do is enjoy it piping hot or on the rocks - it's up to you!

Recommended glass :

  1. Irish coffee: a delicious coffee with whisky

Need to warm up this winter? Then you'll love our recipe for Irish coffee, to be enjoyed in moderation.

For those who don't already know, Irish coffee is a legendary drink that originated in Irish pubs.

This caffeinated cocktail was invented in 1942 near an airport. Cold passengers, most of them soldiers, wanted something warm and comforting to drink.

The owner of the local brewery, Joe Sheridan, came up with the very first Irish café to help his customers keep warm.

What makes this drink special? Irish coffee contains whisky, making it one of the rare alcoholic coffees.

Ingredients of Irish coffee :

  • 5 cl de whisky
  • 12 cl hot coffee
  • 5 cl fresh cream
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Making Irish coffee :

Whip the crème fraîche until you get a nice foam, then heat your whisky and sugar in a saucepan. The mixture should be hot enough for the sugar to dissolve, but not boil.

Once the sugar has disappeared, pour your whisky into a mug, then carefully add the coffee, also hot, so that it doesn't mix with the whisky. Finally, pour the whipped cream over the top of your Irish coffee.

For even more indulgence, you can also sprinkle your caffeinated cocktail with chocolate shavings, or even add marshmallows. All that's left to do is enjoy your hot drink.

  1. Golden latte: a recipe for coffee with spices

Less well known than its predecessors, the Golden latte is beginning to make its way onto café menus.

The name of this caffeinated drink, of Indian origin, comes from its pretty pale yellow colour, obtained without colouring.

Instead, the baristas use a spice: turmeric, renowned for its countless health benefits.

So if you want to treat yourself and pamper yourself, here's our secret to making a delicious Golden latte.

Golden latte ingredients :

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 pinch grated ginger

Preparing the Golden latte :

Pour the almond milk, turmeric, cinnamon stick and grated ginger into a saucepan. Bring to the boil, then leave to infuse over a low heat for 10 minutes, stirring regularly.

Strain your beverage and pour into a large mug. Then add the honey and stir. Your golden latte is ready to enjoy! To decorate your cup, you can sprinkle it with cinnamon and add a cinnamon stick or star anise.

Recommended glass :
